WHY OUR FINISH IS SUPERIOR?
Because it is NOT A PAINT! It is the ONLY finish listed with United Laboratories, approved by the Meat Packers Association for food handling environments and has been utilized by the U.S. Navy and the Federal Housing Authority. Our finish sets the standard for the Federal Testing Standards industry as we are pioneers in the porcelain and fiberglass reglazing field. It is not a basic epoxy, enamel, or urethane paint. The finish is a synthetic porcelain glaze that was specifically developed by United Laboratories and Kott Koatings Inc. for the specific purpose of bathtub refinishing. The unique Kott Koatings process chemically bonds with the original surface. It is not only non-toxic and safe but will last years longer than other finishes.

There are over 500 dealers worldwide that use the Kott Koatings process. Our finish will last as long as the original porcelain did depending on how it's cared for. To maintain that high luster and shine we recommend a non-abrasive cleaner such as Bon Ami, Soft Scrub, Liquid Comet or Dow Tub & Tile Cleaner. You can use any cleaner you prefer but an abrasive cleaner will wear the glaze prematurely just as it did with the original surface

I used this local company to reglaze the original bathtub in my home around 20 years ago. It held up great. After 20 years it was time to do it again and I was so happy to find them still in business. They have been in business for 29 years. I got a quote over the phone which was cheaper than any home show offer, I also like using local businesses whenever possible.
When [he] arrived he offered up some additional options, like the incorporated non skid surface. He was on time and called before he came.
Since the tub was glazed once before it took additional time to remove the old coating. He was polite, efficient, neat and respectful of my home.
He did a great job. The tub looks better than new. It took the traditional 3 days to dry properly . In 20 years, I will call them again!
